On behalf of the Cathies Lanes Receptions, formally known as The Grand Receptions on Cathies Lane, we are inviting you to our Open Day on the 6th of March 2023. Located on 4.5 acres in the heart of Knox City, Cathies Lane Receptions is a first-class premier function venue that exceeds all expectations.  

Cathies Lane Receptions boast one of Melbourne’s largest, pillarless ballrooms which can be reconfigured to suit any style and type of occasion. Our Grand Ballroom seats up to 600 guests and comprises a spectacular 22m x 8m dance floor, suitable for wedding receptions, conferences, exhibitions, valedictories, graduations or any other occasion.  

Cathies Lane Receptions is just 30 minutes from the CBD and 2 minutes off the Burwood Highway and High Street Road exits from Eastlink.  

We cater for Corporate Events, Gala Social Occasions, Debutante Balls, School Formals and Valedictories as well as Weddings and Parties. Cathies Lane Receptions has a versatile, pillarless function room that caters for groups from 250 to 600 guests. 

With a 22m x 8m dance floor and an open plan room your guests have an unobstructed view of the stage and all the action.  

Our inspiring menus created and prepared by our award-winning chef will delight your guests.
